Schluter KERDI-SEAL is half the thickness of Kerdi membrane at only 4 mil. This helps eliminate buildup.

KERDI-SEAL-MV is a section of Kerdi waterproofing membrane with overmolded rubber gaskets that will seal pipe extrusions. Mixing valve opening diameter is 4-1/2".
