Ambient and Floor Heating Modes
The Schluter-DITRA-HEAT thermostat is able to switch between two modes: ambient temperature mode and floor heating mode. Floor heating mode is intended for areas such as bathrooms, where a warm floor adds to your comfort level even if the rest of the room is already hot. Ambient mode is intended for areas like insulated patios and tiled kitchens, where the warmth of the floor can, in some cases, make the room uncomfortably hot.
Day and Night Mode
This thermostat has a day and night mode setting, each of which can record its own set point in memory. These two set points are freely switchable at any point in time.
Smart Mode
The "Smart Mode" feature of this thermostat assigns a recurring 24 hour schedule to your day and night mode setpoints, allowing you to significantly cut down on energy usage while heating your tile floor at all the right times.
